What is the Automated Check-in Service?

With the FlyerBonus Automated Check-in Service, eligible ticket holders will be automatically checked-in 12 hours prior to their flight’s scheduled departure time and for added convenience, e-Boarding passes will be emailed directly to the listed address in the member’s profile.
Bangkok Airways passengers can also request the service for specific or one-time only bookings via the Bangkok Airways Call Center. Selecting this option means that the service will not be automatically applied for every reservation.
FlyerBonus Members
The FlyerBonus Automated Check-in Service will be offered exclusively for FlyerBonus members who have consented via their accounts at flyerbonus.com. The service will be applied to every eligible booking where the member’s name and FlyerBonus membership number is shown.
Who is Eligible?
All FlyerBonus members are eligible to utilise the service apart from those falling into one or more of the listed categories below and/or those who have not provided their consent, via their account, at flyerbonus.com
- Passengers requiring Medical / Special Assistance
- Unaccompanied Minors (Child passengers travelling alone and aged between 6 and 12)
- Passengers traveling in a group of 9 persons or more under the same reservation
- Passengers holding tickets requiring some form of additional payment
- Passengers in possession of a discount fare that requires presentation of specific identification and/or supporting documentation at check-in
Which routes are available for the Automated Check-in Service?
The Automated Check-in Service is now available for all domestic routes in Thailand that are marketed, and operated, by Bangkok Airways. Codeshare flights cannot utilise this service.
Can passengers select their seat numbers with the Automated Check-in Service?
The service automatically allocates the passenger’s seat number and location within the cabin based on the booking class.
Subject to availability, passengers can change their seat, at least one hour prior to the scheduled departure time, by utilising one of three channels: the 'Manage your check-in’ link found on the e-boarding pass, the ‘Online Check-in’ page at bangkokair.com or via the Bangkok Airways mobile application.
Can passengers request the Automated check-in for all companions traveling together?
Passengers can contact the Bangkok Airways Call Center to request the Automated Check-in Service for a maximum of 8 persons listed under the same reservation code 12 horus prior to schedule departure flight. E-boarding passes can be emailed to specified individual addresses or to the main contact address of the booking’s main contact.
FlyerBonus members who have already consented to the service and are listed under the same reservation code will be checked-in automatically and will not need to make a request.
With the Automated Check-in Service, when should passengers arrive at the airport and go to the boarding gate? Do boarding passes need to be printed?
For passengers travelling without checked baggage, they may proceed directly to the boarding gate.
For passengers travelling with checked baggage, they are advised to arrive at the airport’s Bag Drop Counter a minimum of 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time (kindly note the Bag Drop Counter opening times may differ from airport to airport).
All passengers are required to arrive at the boarding gate at least 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time and will need to have their e-Boarding pass from their mobile devices and travel documents ready for presenting to Bangkok Airways staff. Boarding gates close 15 minutes before departure and any passengers arriving late will not be permitted to board. Boarding passes do not need to printed.
How can FlyerBonus members enable or disable the FlyerBonus Automated Check-in Service?
FlyerBonus members can enable or disable utilisation of the FlyerBonus Automated Check-in Service by updating their preferences via 'My Profile'> 'My Preference' menu at flyerbonus.com at least 12 hours prior to any flight booked.

The service is available for FlyerBonus members who have consented via their accounts at flyerbonus.com. The service will be applied to every eligible booking where the member’s name and FlyerBonus membership number is shown
- The individual consent is required for each and every passenger under the same booking and cannot be applied automatically to companions travelling with a member. Passenger are required to contact the Bangkok Airways Call Center and request the service for any accompanying, non-member companions
- e-Boarding passes will be sent directly to the member’s email address stated in their FlyerBonus membership profile
- Members may opt-in or out of the Automated Check-in service at anytime by updating their preference in the ‘My Profile’ menu. Once disabled, all future bookings will require standard check-in servicing along with provision of membership details
- All FlyerBonus members are eligible to utilise the service apart from those falling into one or more of the listed categories below and/or those who have not provided their consent, via their account, at flyerbonus.com

- Once the Automated Check-in process has been completed, seat changes and check-in cancellations can be made via the ‘Online Check-in’ menu at bangkokair.com or the Bangkok Airways mobile application at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time
- Once the Automated Check-in process has been completed, changes to the reservation including travel date, route variations and cancellations, are subject to the ticket's terms and conditions. Please contact the Bangkok Airways Call Center 1771 (within Thailand) or +66(0) 2 270 6699 between 08:00 and 20:00 hrs or visit the nearest Bangkok Airways Ticketing Office for further assistance
- Passengers will need to present their e-boarding passes from their mobile devices, or a printed boarding pass along with other travel documentation, to Bangkok Airways and Airport Authority staff on request
- Passengers traveling with checked baggage are advised to arrive at the airport’s Bag Drop Counter at least 60 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time (kindly note the Bag Drop Counter opening times may differ from airport to airport)
- Passengers travelling without checked baggage can proceed directly to the security checkpoint at the boarding gate and present their e-Boarding pass and other travel documentation

- Passengers are required to arrive at the boarding gate at least 40 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Boarding gates close 15 minutes before departure and any passengers arriving late will not be permitted to board
- Bangkok Airways reserves its absolute right at any time to add, alter, modify, change or vary any or all of the terms and conditions stated herein
- In case of disputes, the decision of Bangkok Airways is final
