"Beyond Flying" is an extension of FlyerBonus’s marketing programme and provides both passengers and FlyerBonus members, when presenting their boarding pass and/or Digital FlyerBonus Membership Card, with redeemable privileges at select restaurants and hotels as well as hospitality and recreational-focused facilities. 3. How do we use collected data?
- We use collected data to complete and facilitate award redemption for members via the FlyerBonus or Beyond Flying programmes: Your travel itinerary will be processed in order to complete your reservations and booking for your flight award redemption. Personal details, membership details, date(s) of redemption, qualifying tiers, service operator, facility, hospitality of choice and contact details may all or in part, be transferred to a third party partner to reserve or book a hotel, ancillary, car rental, lifestyle, restaurant, hospitality, and recreational facility awards.
- We use collected data to improve our awards offerings and services within the FlyerBonus and Beyond Flying programmes. Any information pertaining to award redemptions, the website, mobile application usage, communication preferences, membership details, will be studied in-sync to better understand the needs and desires of our members, whether it be individual offers or promotions, understated, overall and daily privilege valued. Alteration or changes made to the awards program will be based on the studied preferences of our members.
- We use collected data to provide online services via flyerbonus.bangkokair.com, www.flyerbonus.bangkokair.com/beyondflying , Bangkok Airways mobile application and FlyerBonus Wallet Card. Details concerning your web browser, Bangkok Airways mobile application and FlyerBonus Wallet Card usage behavior, location, IP Address will be collected via cookies or with similar technological advancement to configure the best browser and webpage and display setting for enhanced user experience.
- We use collected data to communicate with our members. The contact details, email and/or phone number provided to us are used for conveying Bangkok Airways, FlyerBonus and Partner co-promotion, Beyond Flying Promotion, addressing enquiries, complaints, special assistance, and member service call centre interaction. The selected communication channel(s) and usage behavior will be collected for analysis but restrictions apply as per the stated privacy policies.

*Depending on how the social media settings have been configured and how they are linked to a member’s email account, personal information may be shared via a preferred social network provider (ie. at the log-in stage). Personal information may include contact details, phone number and interests and will allow members to see display ads from FlyerBonus when you viewing social media.

Additionally, your web and mobile usage behavior will be stored via our cookies or similar applications. Award redemption date, award categories redeemed, special meal requirements, special assistance requests, enquiries received via email, Bangkok Airways Ticketing, check-in counter and Airport Lounges, member service contact centre conversations are all stored in our members’ redemption data records. (Queries and/or conversations undertaken via the service contact centre are all voice recorded.)
5. Disclosure Policy
FlyerBonus and Beyond Flying may disclose your information to third parties in order to process one or more of the following activities. Where a award redemption has been requested with “third parties”, otherwise referred to as “service provider/facility/hospitality/airline operators” or “group of companies”.
“To complete and facilitate award redemptions in the FlyerBonus and Beyond Flying programmes.”
- To successfully complete flight award redemptions with Bangkok Airways or one of our partner airlines, we may share your personal data with other airlines.
- Your redemption on car rental, hotels, ancillary, lifestyle-related, restaurant dining, hospitality or recreational facility awards, will require the release of personal and membership details, tier, dates of redemption.

- Improve our awards program and services in the FlyerBonus and Beyond Flying programmes:
Award redemption data and personal details may be released to third parties as described above when redeeming awards for the benefit of service feedback during the award usage period and/or from utilizing the awards programmes.
- To provide our online services via flyerbonus.bangkokair.com, www.flyerbonus.bangkokair.com/beyondflying, Bangkok Airways mobile application, FlyerBonus Wallet Card. “Third parties” are contracted to provide technological support for our online, mobile application and FlyerBonus Wallet Card. Example includes IT Supplier/programmer, email broadcaster, social network providers and marketing agencies. All third parties are subject to consent in an NDR and safeguard controls when handling personal data and only use it on our authorization and control.
- To communicate more efficiently with members: Personal data maybe shared with “network providers, SMS/MMS broadcaster. Communicating contents may include of existing or new FlyerBonus benefits, Co-Partner promotion and Beyond Flying promotions, management of enquiries and complaints and assistance via mobile devices.
- To assist members requiring medical assistance. Information maybe shared with medical service providers. Members with special meal requirements may also have their information shared with medical service providers. Or members holding specific religious beliefs may also have their information and special needs shared with involving “third parties”. By declaring personal information and/or any special needs and requirements, members are consenting to sharing details with “third parties” as described above. However, governed under the law of patient medical record disclosure by medical personnel. Members can withdraw their consent via the member service communication channel at anytime. By withdrawing their consent, members may not, as a consequence, have their requested service accommodated.
- To ensure member safety is not compromised and public order, discipline, border control of passengers and illegal drugs is maintained FlyerBonus may share or receive information to/from third parties. Requests from third parties for information on members or passengers may be accommodated especially those with disorder records. If a disorder situation threatens to interfere with the safety, public order, discipline, control of passengers and illegal drugs either after the successful redemption of awards, pre-departure (on the ground) while at the airport both landside or airside, or onboard the aircraft, personal information may be shared. FlyerBonus also reserves the right, either independently or after consulting third parties, to revoke award redemptions where applicable. Boarding may also be denied, either by Bangkok Airways or a partner airline, whereby a member or passengers is found to have a disorder or suspicious record.

At all times, members can choose to opt-in or out of receiving FlyerBonus marketing material via the communication profile management menu. Should a member believe his or her rights have been compromised under the applicable data protection laws, they can send a written outline, together with evidence of personal identity to,

7. Duration of Information Stored:
Your personal information, membership details, award redemption data will be retained as long as required for company auditing and for the stated purposes of safety, public order, discipline, border control of passengers and illegal drugs. Any recorded incidences of disorderly conduct will be considered private and only disclosed in circumstances relating to the management of disputes or compulsory obligations.
8. Security Measures, Notifications:
FlyerBonus will take appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that privacy is protected under the privacy, disclosure policy. The accredited DPO will be notified in the event of a data privacy breach.
Information being wrongly sent to an unintentional recipient, the “subject receiver” is issued with a confidentiality notice at the footer of every Electronic Mail content sent out from FlyerBonus. The act of dissemination, copying, storage of data and/or downloading of attachments by the unintended recipient will be deemed an offense and subject to prosecution as per domestic or international computer crime laws.
9. Policy Management:
Our new privacy, disclosure policy and Disclaimer Notice will become effective on of 25 May 2018. Standards compliance will be consistently monitored and subject to ongoing scrutiny. Where revisions or additions have been recommended, FlyerBonus members will be notified via email, mobile notifications or an In-Application ‘FlyerBonus Wallet Card’ notification will be send. If you are a KTC-Bangkok Airways co-brand cardholder, you can also convert your KTC forever reward points to FlyerBonus points which are redeemable on Bangkok Airways’ award flight(s). If your FlyerBonus membership number is recorded on your boarding pass, earned points from the applicable flight will be automatically transferred to your account. It can take up to 14 working days after the flight activity date for points to appear on your membership activity page. If the said time period has elapsed, claiming for missing points can be done online (within 6 months of the date of flight activity) by visiting www.flyerbonus.com.
You can check your FlyerBonus point balance, as well as your last credited activity, by logging onto your membership account at www.flyerbonus.com. Please allow up to 14 working days after the flight activity date for points to appear on your membership activity page.

If you are a KTC-Bangkok Airways co-brand cardholder, you can convert your KTC forever reward points to FlyerBonus points, redeemable on Bangkok Airways’ award flight(s). The conversion charge is 1,000 KTC forever reward points per 500 FlyerBonus Points with no minimum amount required.
Yes, retroactive credit on Bangkok Airways flights taken prior to enrolment is allowed if flights have been taken not more than 6 months before enrolment.
No, for all our non-airline partners, credit is only permitted after enrolment.
It’s as easy as quoting your membership number when making a reservation and presenting your FlyerBonus membership card at check-in. We do however, advise you to keep your original travel documents, original boarding passes and a copy of your ticket in order to retroactively credit points to your account.
